Special: IEEE 1471 Compliant Architectures
HIT makes architecture products in accordance
with the IEEE 1471 standard for architecture descriptions.
Also the latest insights from the Carnegie Mellon
Software Engineering Institute (SEI - Paul Clements e.a.) on
viewtypes and architectural styles are applied. Although all
were initially intended for the description of software systems,
it's
use has
been commonly accepted for describing business systems as well.
HIT has extended the
extended
the IEEE-1471 conceptual model of architecture description
with the developments from the SEI. (see the UML class diagram
on the right). This ensures that the architecture products are
compliant with the latest standards and insight in architecture
development,
enabling complete and structured:

Illustrated with simulations of how the busines
will operate in addressing the issues (business
objects and links).
